Senior Program
With current medicine and diagnostics, our feline friends are living much longer, many reaching 18 years or more. However, age appropriate changes may start developing by 7 years of age. We believe, with prompt diagnosis and early intervention, we can help your cat achieve the potential for a longer and happier life. With this in mind, we have designed a program. especially for our older friends, to give them the best quality health care in their senior years. This program is recommended annually for cats aged 7 - 13 years and twice a year for cats over 13 years of age.
Included in the program:
- Full physical examination and consultation by the veterinarian
- Feline senior blood and urine panel which will assess kidney, liver, thyroid, blood sugar, cell counts, and urine health
- Blood pressure testing
- Eligible for dental program package
- Eligible for vaccine program package
- When booking your appointment ask for the senior program. To facilitate collection of the urine sample, please prevent your cat's access to the litter box for at least 4 hours prior to the appointment.
