The clinic was established by Dr. Vicki Whyte and has enjoyed a steady growth since opening in 1993. In fact, the clinic had to expand in 1999 to handle our growing number of feline patients. This expansion enabled us to create a larger X-ray facility, a boarding room, a new consultation room, and more cage space.
When we first opened our doors, the Calgary Cat Clinic employed one veterinarian, one Animal Health Technologist (AHT), and one receptionist. Our staff now includes two veterinarians, three full-time AHTs, a Practice Manager, a Technologist Assistant, and one part-time receptionist. Click here to meet the staff.
After hours our phone lines are forwarded to the 24 hour Calgary North Veterinary Hospital, located at 4204 4 Street NW. In case of an after hours emergency please let the receptionist at the Calgary North Veterinary Hospital know that you regularly attend the Calgary Cat Clinic and they will ensure that we receive a copy of your cat's visit.
